About the Castro Valley Democratic Club
Castro Valley Democratic Club was founded in 1998 by a group of individuals dedicated to sharing their passion with others. Based in Castro Valley, we are an active and enthusiastic Political Club with events and activities taking place year-round. We like to keep up the energy and excitement, always welcoming new members to take part. Simply put, we love getting together to support democrats.
Mission Statement
This club is formed to carry out the following purposes of its members:

To support and elect Democratic Candidates to State and Local offices, and to encourage new candidates who share our Democratic ideals.

To foster continuing Democratic action in the Castro Valley community, and provide an enduring local organization affiliated to the California Democratic Party.
​
To develop and encourage a grass-roots voice within the California democratic Party.
​
To foster continuing adherence to Democratic ideals within the Party.
To work in political education, especially among young people and new citizens, to secure the future of the Party and it's ideals in our community.

To promote accessibility to Party activity among all interested citizens, and to encourage more Democrats to become active in political affairs.
To have fun being Democrats.
